Research

In addition to working with clients, Dr. Albaugh has conducted neuroscience research with the aim of better understanding the neurobiological mechanisms associated with common emotional and behavioral problems. He has a particular interest in the neural circuitry underpinning mood and anxiety problems, and how this circuitry is impacted by factors such as sleep, physical exercise, adversity and trauma, as well as substance use.
